About the event
The First Aid, Adult CPR, and AED course cover the latest in emergency care, teaching students to recognize and treat various first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. The course also teaches how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims. Learning CPR and how to use an AED can significantly increase a person's chance of survival if performed within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest. It typically takes 8–12 minutes for first responders to arrive after a 911 call. NSC First Aid training meets OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.151 and follows the latest CPR and first aid guidelines. The training is tailored to meet the specific needs of your industry.
